Perspectives Charter Schools
In 1997, two Chicago Public School teachers envisioned an innovative holistic education model that combined academic achievement and character development. Since its inception, Perspectives Charter Schools manages five open enrollment, tuition-free public schools serving students in grades 6 - 12 on Chicago’s south side. Unlike their growing enrollment, Perspectives’ identity had not matured in over 20 years.
Having worked on their annual gala, annual report and recruitment materials for years, Ryan was very familiar with the limitations of Perspectives’ old identity. This insight yielded an efficient and targeted approach to trimming fat and introducing elements that were better aligned to Perspectives’ education model. The refreshed identity was a bolder and more modern expression their student body was happy to stand behind.
