IUOE Local 150
The International Union of Operating Engineers Local 150 (IUOE) represents ten of thousands of heavy construction workers in northern Illinois and Indiana. Given the contractual nature of construction projects, wages can vary wildly leaving hard work poorly compensated. IUOE needed a campaign to expose this wage theft and inform workers of their worth.
IUOE and Ryan crafted a campaign that spoke directly to Indiana audiences and provided transparency on heavy construction wages in the state. Workers could peruse a database of current wages in real time and submit a petition urging state legislators to address the matter.
